The POS department offers several benefits to the Kahala Brands™ franchisee community. The POS department works to help franchisees save money by supplying quality POS equipment with the right functionality which helps them run their business and add to their bottom line. Because we work for the franchise community and not as an outside company, we offer the personal service and support that our franchisees deserve.

Equipment:
We have evaluated over 40 different software and hardware platforms to provide a solution that will be able to run any of our different concept choices. Whether franchisees own a single concept or multiple concepts under one roof, our products will solve all of your POS needs. By offering single company hardware and a single company software solution, we are able to take full advantage of the buying power of the Kahala Brands™ umbrella. We have put together a total package solution that will be able to run a franchisees business into the future with having the lowest possible cost of ownership possible. One to two times a year, we evaluate all of our current POS system components and peripherals to make sure that we are buying the right product, for the right price and for the right reasons.

Support:
At Kahala Brands™, we have built our own, internal helpdesk with the franchisee in mind. This helpdesk is again, under the Kahala Brands™ umbrella to make sure that the franchisee community gets the best possible support available. We offer 363 day per year / 15 hours per day support. We pride ourselves on our ability to go above and beyond the normal helpdesk duties. We have built our own custom designed support tools to help our technicians support our franchisees with a better service model. This allows some of our service calls to happen without anybody at the store calling and waiting for a technician to finish repairing the system. Some of the service needs can even happen without the store knowing that there is a problem with their system and will be fixed before someone even gets into the store.

Installation and Programming:
As part of the annual maintenance fees, we include things that are not normally included in other support company fees.  Examples of some of the added benefits are phone assistance, installing purchased equipment and completing all programming and updates on the POS system. These are included as part of the service model. We make sure that when a franchisee purchases a Kahala Brands™ POS System, all they need is included in the package solution to make sure that when the store opens for business, they will have everything they need, ready to go.
